1. TikTok’s UK user base is growing rapidly and expanding beyond the Gen-Z demographic, it’s key for brands to be paying attention. Listen to what’s happening on the platform and draft a platfom specific strategy, don’t just repurpose assets from other platforms and expect success.
2. Creators are the best way in; they live and breathe the platform and understand what works and what doesn’t. Partner up with people who fit your brand and let them steer the content; trust them to know best.
3. If you’re worried about investing in the platform, start small by publishing organic content and get to grips with what works. Advertising is still in its infancy in the UK, but even media buying on the platform requires an understanding of the unique platform features. Organic content is a great way to get started.
